Salvation Army Christmas Appeal
Every Christmas Toorak Caterers produces a range of gourmet hampers, puddings and cakes. All proceeds from the sale of these goods are donated to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.

Student Training Program
Toorak Caterers have developed an internal student training program. The program is open to all Toorak College students aged 15 years or over and offers them the opportunity to learn basic food and beverage service skills. We include a unit covering Safe food Handling and training in using professional espresso machines. Upon completion students are presented with certificates of recognition.
We are currently working towards developing the program into a certified certificate.

Community Kitchen & Take Home Meals
The Toorak College community kitchen is a fabulous initiative overseen by a number of volunteers. It provides an opportunity for people from all walks of life to meet and network in a relaxed and warm environment. In 2010 Toorak Caterers have been working with the community kitchen to develop a range of nutritional frozen meals. These will be sold to staff and parents through the school cafeteria with 10% of all profits donated to the Community Kitchen.

Australian Achiever Awards

The Australian Achiever Awards offer companies the opportunity to have an external auditor survey past clients and service providers. Based upon extensive feedback the company is then presented with an overall score and rating. Toorak Caterers have consistently rated in the Highly Recommended category with overall scores of 94% and above.
